Product Catalogue - Compost Conditioners |
During the "Composting" stage,
the compost needs to be conditioned to maintain the correct temperature
and aeration within the pile to achieve the maximum microbial growth
conditions. Temperature and microbial growth are both critical to
pathogen reduction, one of the most important factors within the compost
production cycle. The David Harrison Compost Conditioner has been designed
with these factors in mind and has an impressive list of features:-
- Bulk Receiving Hopper designed to accept
feed from loading shovels
- 2 High Powered Rotors for breaking down
and mixing the compost
- 2 Under Conveyors routing the compost to
a central point for discharge.
- Discharge Elevator to return the mixed
and aerated mixture back to the pile
- Optional Pulverisor fitted to the end of
the Discharge Elevator for final conditioning.
This is an example of a
standard specification machine, however we can also provide bespoke
designed units for individual customer solutions. Please contact us
